Our Vision

Our company's name references our team's roots, 59 degrees north of Syndey in Estonia. For anyone involved in cybersecurity, Estonia is a familiar name in the industry. With a mix of sprawling nature and medieval buildings, Estonia has balanced its rich history with technological advances and research in cybersecurity. Despite its size, Estonia's push into research, education, and training in cybersecurity is significant.

A source of pride and inspiration for our name is the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE), located 59 degrees north from us in Australia.

Our Origin

The establishment of a NATO alliance centre in Tallinn had been long debated and was finally realised in 2007 after Estonia faced cyberattacks. On May 14th, 2008, the defence centre was established. It conducted its first cybersecurity conference, CyCon, in 2009, and has held the conference annually since. This event has become a hub for the cybersecurity community, adhering to the highest standards of academic research. Since 2010, the centre has also hosted the world's largest and most complex international live-fire cyber defence exercise annually.

CCDCOE

As of January 2018, CCDCOE is responsible for identifying and coordinating education and training solutions in cyber defence for all NATO bodies across the Alliance. NATO Allied Command Transformation has provided CCDCOE with an unconditional quality assurance accreditation for its contribution to high-quality NATO Education and Training. CCDCOE took on these new responsibilities with the status of Department Head for Cyber Defence Operations Education and Training Discipline, granted by the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT), one of NATO’s two strategic commanders.

Launched in 2009, it has brought together experts, legal scholars, and advisors from around the world. As of 2018, it is responsible for identifying and coordinating both education and training solutions in cyber defence for all NATO bodies across the Alliance.
